Research has shown that most girls will lose anywhere from 8-16 pounds in the first two weeks of delivery. This weight is basically attributed to the loss of excess liquid in the body, ( naturally ) the baby's weight, the placenta and amniotic liquid that are removed from the body with the birth. Some girls might lose a little bit less, and others might lose a little bit more - there's no "one" number.
How snappy this weight comes off relies on some factors including : your overall health, genetics, diet and ( naturally ) exercise.
A lady should be expecting that it'll take time to lose the weight she gained during her pregnancy. Bear in mind, the weight won't come off overnight, but it'll come off if you "attack" it in the correct way. Accept the undeniable fact that you may still be carrying around the majority of the fat you gained to help keep your baby safe and sound during pregnancy. The body uses these additional pounds of weight to permit for enough energy resources whilst breast feeding.
